According to the result of a survey that conducted by Italian Centre for Industrial Studies (CSIL), the world furniture consumption is forecast to increase 3.5% in 2018. This has created a fruitful opportunity for all furniture manufacturer business and Asian furniture market, especially garden and poly rattan furniture.

China
is the largest commercial furniture supplier in the world, accounting for 39%
of world furniture production. To explain this, most of the customers of these
enterprises assess that Chinese’s furniture have the diversity in design, type,
quantity and price. This allows them to make many different choices. The next
names in the list of the world’s leading furniture manufacturers are US,
Germany, Italy, India, Poland and Japan. In addition, China is also the largest
furniture exporter in the world with an unprecedented period of growth in the
last two decades despited of the stress on industrial production driven by
exports and fuelled by foreign investments. United States, Japan, United Kingdom,
Germany and Australia are the followers of the largest commercial furniture

is only ranked in 8th for largest producer of furniture in the world. This country is ranked 1st in
the most rapidly grow commercial furniture suppliers over India and Japan, with the growth of
approximately 155% per year. According to CSIL report, Vietnam
obtained the highest export growth in the world. This achievement is due to the way Vietnam’s
furniture manufacturers take advantages of available resources. Firsly, Vietnam
has cheap labor resources but skillful hands. Secondly, Vietnam is well known
for its diverse natural resources, which is best
for the production of many different materials. Rational exploitation will help
Vietnam furniture manufacturers make full use of their resources. Currently the
furniture industry in Vietnam comprises around 1,500 exporters, about 450 being
FDI companies (foreign direct investment) that account for over 45% of
furniture exports.
